Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Summary Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems. Document and calculate results accurately. Take corrective action when necessary, including alerting personnel, isolating non‑conforming products, and reporting results to management. Handle additional assignments as requested. Shift & Compensation This position works the 2nd shift and is paid $25.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, paid weekly. Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 pounds. Stand on a hard surface up to 12 hours per day. Operate in temperatures ranging from 30 to 90°F. Work in a wet environment. Perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling. Reach high and low levels frequently. Climb step ladders or stairs. Work overtime and weekends as needed. Have valid Lock Out/Tag Out certification. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry or related quality assurance experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to complete Tyson paperwork. Lead by example and motivate hourly workforce. Strong problem identification and problem‑solving skills. Math and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret product specifications. Function well under stress. Flexibility to work where and when needed. Additional Internal Requirements Must not have 4 or more attendance points for a location on an 8‑point policy (as of application date). No written warning in the past six months.
