Merchandiser

Overview Merchandisers are key personnel responsible for merchandising, to assure the sell‑through process of our products. Merchandisers will build and maintain business relationships with all our account partners. Responsibilities Start at pre‑determined times set by first dock times. Complete all assignments given for the day. Ensure point‑of‑sale (P.O.S.) locations are clean and functional; clean, repair and install all P.O.S. as instructed by Sales Representative or Team Leader. Set merchandising displays, coolers, walls, windows, etc. as instructed by Sales Representative or Team Leader. Assist in shelf sets if needed. Ensure all product packaging reflects the integrity of the package; immediately remove packages that do not meet standards. Rotate all displays, backstock and shelves, ensuring newer dated products are not stacked in front of or on top of older product dates on all displays and backstock. Place older dated product in front of newer product on cooler shelves. Assist in any product deliveries as needed. Monitor and report all competitive activity in accounts. Complete required paperwork in a neat and timely fashion. Clean inside and outside of vehicle on a weekly schedule. Complete all training courses assigned. Complete all other assigned tasks. Must be qualified to operate applicable company vehicles. Class A CDL license is encouraged. Physically qualified to handle company products, meeting Department of Labor Level 4 Heavy Work Job Evaluation (able to exert 50–100 pounds of force occasionally, 25–50 pounds frequently, 10–20 pounds constantly; occasionally lift up to 160 lbs.).
