Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting
• Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal health status throughout the postpartum period
• Support antepartum patients as needed, delivering individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NRP certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of approximately 1 year and 8 months of RN experience
• Couplet care and antepartum experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume Mother/Baby or Labor and Delivery unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems in an acute care environment
