Your Role Awaits

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic tests, and crafting customized care strategies
• Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions both independently and collaboratively with physicians
• Providing education to patients and families to promote wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments as per your scope of practice
• Involvement in patient follow-up and management of chronic illnesses
• Working in collaboration across disciplines to ensure integrated, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Certification

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Essentials

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure within 90 days)
