As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Le Roy, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication while working as part of a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious, hazardous, and/or policy-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by offering directions, assisting with routine requests, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
