In this rewarding role, you’ll:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an Exceptional Children Teacher in an elementary separate setting classroom.
• Manage a classroom of 10 students with the support of 2 dedicated teaching assistants.
• Deliver individualized instruction and develop personalized education plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain compliance with all IEP goals, district, and state regulations.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (EC preferred).
• Prior experience working with students with special needs, especially in an elementary and/or separate setting, is valued.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
