Work on substantive legal support tasks, including complex legal documents, trial preparation, docketing, exhibits, and litigation support. What You’ll Do Prepare and process legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, warrants, judgments, summonses, affidavits, and other court-related materials. Support trial preparation by compiling trial notebooks, jury instructions, witness and exhibit lists, exhibits, charts, photos, and presentation materials. Verify citations and statutory references using legal resources and prepare tables of contents, indices, and reference listings for briefs. Perform docketing and case support using automated case tracking systems; maintain case calendars and track filing, hearing, and trial dates. Assist with legal correspondence, confidential file handling, records organization, visitor/caller support, and administrative legal support for AUSA staff. What We’re Looking For Experience performing paralegal or legal support work in a litigation, government, court, law enforcement, or comparable legal office setting. Strong ability to review legal and non-legal documents, including motions and briefs, for accuracy, completeness, and formatting. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access or other databases, and Adobe Acrobat Professional; Relativity experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, external partners, and the public. Ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively, and handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Why Join DiverseGOV?
