About the Position
TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Local Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering construction and insulation materials, safely transporting rail containers, and providing professional customer service throughout the local route.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $28.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Daily responsibilities may require 10–11 hours of work
Job Details

- Equipment: Class A vehicle and pallet jack
- Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries, drop and hook, and securing rail containers
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
- Complete local deliveries of construction and insulation materials.
- Perform drop-and-hook operations and safely secure and transport rail containers.
- Ensure safe, timely, and incident-free transportation.
- Maintain open communication with dispatch.
- Provide positive, safe, and professional customer experiences.
- Build and maintain strong communication and rapport with customers.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid, current CDL A.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Some experience with intermodal containers.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
