Accounting Specialist Location: Kalispell, MT (Hybrid/In-Office Option Available) Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Compensation: starting at $23/hour DOE

Your Impact

Drive Client Financial Success You'll manage a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of their financial information.

* Prepare accurate monthly financial reports

* Process payroll with precision and compliance

* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

* Communicate proactive updates and identify issues early

* Maintain strong, trust-based client relationships

Deliver Technical Excellence

* Enter and reconcile transactions accurately

* Collect and process payroll data, calculate deductions, and submit required filings

* Prepare clear, reliable financial statements for decision-making

* Maintain compliance with GAAP and payroll tax regulations

* Support special projects and firm initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years of payroll and bookkeeping experience (public accounting preferred)

* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online * Strong understanding of payroll processing, deductions, commissions, and tax filings

* Experience with bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations

* Thorough understanding of payroll laws and IRS compliance requirements

* Experience with Google Workspace
