ISCI Senior Engineering ManagerBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant supervisory experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of experience.Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities For This PositionBelow are key responsibilities of the ISCI Senior Engineering Manager:Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation across the business segmentAccountable for engineering program execution, cost control, and technical performance across all programs within the business segment, including directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of all engineering efforts within the Business SegmentSupport key technical initiatives and/or problem resolutionExtensive engagement with all levels of engineering program teams to identify risks, staffing issues, deviations to contractual scope and ensuring appropriate mitigation efforts.Collaborate across Business Area/LoB and share resources where necessary, proactively anticipating needsClose collaboration with BD and Business segment Director to define viable business strategy for sustainment and growth of the business and provide technical advice and direction during proposals and execution issues.Alignment of our technical strategy to the overall business strategyApproval authority for engineering proposals and execution baseline plansAccountable for effective implementation of business-driven IR&DProvides leadership and technical/managerial content for proposals with identification of cross business unit strengths and technical shortcomingsLeads improvements in engineering through process change and implementation of new methods/tools and application of appropriate resourcesSupport the implementation of technology into the Business Area/LoB, including AIFinancial activities such as Engineering budgets/forecasts, capital/expense management, and financial analysis (direct/indirect labor usage)People activities such as performance management, hiring, headcount management and forecasting, close collaboration with our Learning and Organizational Development team on training and development, and employee recognitionThe successful candidate will have direct experience in leading and growing teams who execute technologically complex programs in a changing environment. This candidate must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.Preferred candidate will have:Domain expertise in Anti-Tamper (AT), hardware physical security, and/or commercial product development.Strong background leading a multi-functional team to successfully design, develop, and deliver products.Clearly demonstrated background in building enduring customer relationshipsAn ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.Knowledge of how to build, grow and execute AT/physical security based programs to include leveraging core products to support multiple product linesAbility to grow and execute production focused programs focused on DTC/DTUPC and manufacturabilityExisting secret clearanceWilling to travel regularly to staff sites in Scottsdale, AZ, Boise, ID, and Salt Lake City, UTDepartment of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
