Under the general direction of the Department Manager, the Medical Assistant of the St. Joseph Health Rural Health Clinic is responsible to assist the physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner in providing patient care while demonstrating our core values. Required Qualifications Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree Related field. Or Bachelor's Degree Related field. Coursework/Training Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school or course. Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification 2 years Working experience as a medical assistant. Experience in an ambulatory care setting. IDX, EHealthline, Meditech, EMR and Allscripts, Epic experience. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
