What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions with evidence-based practice under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer treatment procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to treatment plans with supervising PT.
• Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Participate in meetings such as patient care conferences and rehabilitation reviews.
• Support students and supervise DME or supplies necessary for patient care as directed.

What You Need

Required:

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in long-term care environments
• Knowledge of rehabilitation procedures and modalities
