You will be responsible for the movement and delivery of merchandise and products to store locations within assigned routes in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.What You’ll Do | Key AccountabilitiesEnsure timely deliveries to the Tailored Brands store networkUnload, process and reload merchandise and freightDrive Commercial Motor Vehicle on HUB routes and deliver merchandise to storesPack and ship merchandise as requiredScan drivers’ logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUBAssist in the reconciliation of data entry errors, transfer discrepancies and pending transfersEnsure security of all HUB equipment and toolsPerform driving function within the parameters set forth by the Transportation Safety DepartmentEnsure that work areas are cleanReport all injuries to up-line management on a timely basisActively support corporate mission statementMaintain a professional and courteous relationship with stores, customers and vendorsWork collegially in teamsWhat You’ll Bring | Skills & ExperienceMust be at least 21 years of ageValid driver’s license (Non CDL). 26 FT Box Truck - Under 26,000 LBSAble to pass a Company Road testAble to pass a DOT physical, including drug screenGood driving record: No more than 2 moving violations in past 24 months or 3 moving violations in past 36 monthsNo DUI’s, DWI, or license suspension in last 10 yearsNo more than 1 preventable (DOT recordable) accident in past 12 monthsFamiliar with the surround market and neighboring cities/surroundingsAbility to work in all areas of the HUB’s distribution center and perform any necessary job duties as assignedWork Environment, Physical & Mental DemandsAble to sit and remain alert while driving for a period of at least 10 hoursDrive 26 ft. automatic transmission box trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVWSquat or crouch to handle or position freightEnter and exit vehicle cab minimum of 8-10 times per day. Entry and exit will be achieved with the assistance of various steps, footholds, and handholds.
