Job Title: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in high-risk labor and delivery care License: RN License Certifications: Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate Must-Have: - High-risk obstetrical bedside training - Experience circulating in c-section in the labor and delivery area - Experience recovering high acuity patients Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This position involves working in a high-risk obstetrical unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 2:1 for cervical ripening and early labor, and 1:1 for active labor. Candidates should have experience in triage and postpartum care. The unit has a total of 24 beds. Documentation is performed using an electronic system. Nurses must be able to float to the antepartum unit as needed. A professional appearance is required, with specific guidelines for attire and grooming. Visible piercings other than earrings are not permitted. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety. This role requires flexibility regarding scheduling and adherence to attendance policies.
