We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong background in various medical fields, including but not limited to ICU care, clinic, and hospital rounding. Duties We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience or interest in cardiology. The ideal candidate will work closely with our board-certified interventional cardiologists to provide comprehensive cardiac care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting patient assessments and physical exams Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic cardiac conditions Interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, echocardiograms) Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Educating patients and families on cardiovascular health Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Provide triage services to prioritize patient care effectively. Utilize EClinicalWorks (ECW), Epic, and Cerner (PatientKeeper) for medical documentation and patient management. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Spanish speaking is a plus Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Experience in ICU settings preferred but not required. Strong skills in triage and prioritization of care. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
