Title
CT Technologist

Schedule
Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, with first and second shift coverage as needed.

Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred.
- Massachusetts DPH Radiology License required.
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) preferred; ARRT (CT) required within two years of hire.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
- Interpret physician scanning instructions and prepare the CT scan equipment.
- Position patients appropriately to capture diagnostic images.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating CT scanners.
- Maintain high standards of image quality for accurate interpretation by radiologists.
- Document and enter patient information and charge procedures into the Meditech Computer System.

Compliance / Notes
- All employees with direct patient contact are responsible for engaging in hand hygiene practices.
- Reports incidents in a timely manner.
- Ensures a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
