Travel Nurse RN - Float Telemetry - $2,406 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2405.96 Opportunity: RN - MS-Tele Float Job Details: • Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 6-9 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule • May be asked to participate in holiday rotation • Rare on-call or standby requirement for low census situations • Must float within Zone 3 (based around Denver City Center) which includes facilities within a 60-mile radius • Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance and follow one of two formats: - Option A: Scheduled at a single facility for the week with possible float within that facility - Option B (Just-In-Time): Facility assigned 1-2 hours before shift start via call • Float pool includes multiple units: General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation • May be asked to float into other acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity • Heparin drip titration required • Respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPap used on unit • Nurse aides available on unit • Designated charge nurse on each unit who typically does not take a patient assignment • Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Renal, Urology post-surgical, General Surgery, Gynecology, Psych/Detox, ENT, and General Medicine • Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required; prior neuro experience preferred • 1-2 days of unit orientation with a preceptor provided • Charting system: EPIC • Scrub color: Any color permitted • BSN not required • All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment • Traveler must not miss more than 3 shifts in a 13-week contract • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Facility: This position supports a network of acute care facilities spanning a 60-mile radius in the Denver, Colorado area. The facilities offer a wide range of specialty services including orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, oncological, and general medical care.
