Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician (MD/DO) Dothan, AL Full-Time Inpatient & Outpatient $350,000-$700,000 per Year

An established and expanding regional healthcare system in Dothan, Alabama, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join its collaborative medical team.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
• Diagnose and treat complex pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, respiratory failure, pulmonary hypertension, and pneumonia
• Provide ICU consultations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct outpatient pulmonary evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up
• Perform bronchoscopy and other pulmonary and critical care procedures
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support resident and medical student education

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
• Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural competency
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
