Laurel with mileage expenses paidMust have a clean driving record and reliable transportationSummary:Seeking a phlebotomist to assist in various duties and provide workflow recommendations.Position Responsibilities:Skills in blood draws, labeling specimens, and recording maintenance data requiredEnsuring proper handling and storage of specimens according to proceduresEffectively communicate the venipuncture process to patientsExperience using straight needles and butterfly needlesMatch laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and follow test ordersPackage and store specimens for transportStay compliant with OSHA and DEP regulationsAttend department trainings and assist with inquiriesMinimum Qualifications:Valid Phlebotomy certification requiredMinimum 6 months of venipuncture experienceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeHigh School Diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of experience
