Job Description
Operating Room Travel RN

Schedule

Variable weekend and call schedules; discussed during interview.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours/week determined by specific assignment.

Requirements

• 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel.
• Experience required in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics.
• RN licensure in the state required at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various surgical procedures including but not limited to hysterectomies, appendectomies, and total joint replacements.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, PT, and pharmacy.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia throughout procedures.
