Patient Care Coordinator
My Hearing Centers
Are you the person who makes people feel welcome the moment they walk through the door? Do you love staying organized, building relationships, and helping a busy office run smoothly? If so, you may be exactly who we’re looking for. At My Hearing Centers, our Patient Care Coordinators are much more than the front desk. They are the heart of the clinic and an essential part of the patient experience. As a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), you’ll be the first voice patients hear and the first face they see. You’ll build relationships with patients, keep the clinic organized and moving, partner closely with the hearing care provider, and help ensure patients receive the attention and follow-up they deserve. If you’re personable, organized, comfortable on the phone, and enjoy helping people while working toward a common goal, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient who calls or visits the clinic Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, follow-ups, and day-to-day patient communication Keep the provider’s schedule organized and optimized to support patient access and clinic productivity Proactively connect with current and past patients to encourage follow-up care and keep them engaged in their hearing journey Build lasting relationships with patients and provide exceptional service throughout their experience Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with general coverage questions Process patient payments and transactions accurately Support clinic inventory, including ordering, tracking, and returns Educate patients about available products, services, financing options, and promotions Partner closely with the provider to support patient satisfaction and clinic goals Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready clinic environment Stay informed about company programs and services so you can confidently answer questions and assist patients What We’re Looking For You don’t necessarily need healthcare experience to be successful in this role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and knows how to provide an exceptional customer experience. Our ideal PCC brings: Previous customer service experience; healthcare, hospitality, retail, or sales experience is a plus A friendly, confident, and professional communication style Comfort making outbound calls and engaging patients by phone Strong organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to multitask and shift priorities in a busy environment Confidence learning and navigating multiple computer systems A team-first mindset and willingness to work toward shared clinic goals Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages, particularly seniors Why This Role Matters Hearing healthcare can have a tremendous impact on a person’s quality of life, and the PCC plays an important role in helping patients take that first step—and continue their care. You aren’t simply scheduling appointments. You’re helping connect people with care that can keep them engaged with their families, communities, and the moments that matter most. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position works in a clinical office environment and involves regular interaction with patients in person and by phone. The role regularly requires sitting, talking, hearing, and performing standard computer and office tasks. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of items weighing up to 20 pounds may be required.
