Position Summary
The Press Brake & Production Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brakes and other production equipment safely and efficiently. This role also supports general production operations while maintaining quality standards and a clean, organized work area.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake equipment.
- Operate production machines and presses according to work instructions.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts to ensure specifications are met.
- Use measuring tools accurately to verify product dimensions.
- Complete production records and required paperwork accurately.
- Dispose of scrap materials in designated containers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
- Assist with general production and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating press brakes or punch presses is a plus.
- Ability to read and use measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Safety-focused with a dependable work ethic.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
- Lift materials appropriate to assigned tasks (mechanical lifting equipment available for heavier loads).
- Stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the work area.
- Push carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and leg movements.
- Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Perform basic math, counting, and recordkeeping.
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8-hour shifts (unless otherwise specified)
$18.00-$24.00 per hour , depending on experience.
