About the role:

Build your project management career supporting capital projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This opportunity suits an early-career professional with an interest in construction project leadership who wants to coordinate and/or lead engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities while managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks.

Responsibilities:

• Support an Integrated Project Team through project planning and execution.
• Support the development of project execution plans, scope definitions, schedules, and budget baselines.
• Assist in identifying risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support contingency estimates.
• Coordinate with project controls and support Control Account Managers.
• Review cost and schedule variances and establish corrective actions.
• Communicate project status to management, customers, and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Entry level or junior PM role, no experience required.
