REGISTERED NURSE PRN - GASTROENTEROLOGY

Registered RN is a key member of a multidisciplinary health care team, responsible for a group of patients for a designated time frame and supervising and providing care utilizing the nursing process and therapeutic use of self. Responsibilities Follows established policies and procedures Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians Applies Cooper core values Other duties as required Locations The Mt. Laurel and Willingboro locations are outpatient units, while the Special Test Unit (STU) on the sixth floor of the main hospital is an outpatient and inpatient unit serving the gastroenterology division. Common procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy. Units are staffed by surgical schedulers, patient service representatives, nurses, and GI technicians. Nurses rotate through admission, procedure suites, recovery, and pre‑admission testing, and must be familiar with all roles and procedures in the GI Unit. Qualifications Require 2 Years Acute Care Experience; GI or Pre/Post Preferred Graduate of a NLN accredited School of Nursing Current NJ‑RN License (Registered Nurse) Current NJ‑BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Special Requirements 3 shifts per 6 weeks: 2 Saturdays and 1 additional shift required Shift times: 7-330P or 730-4P #J-18808-Ljbffr Cooper University Health Care
