Acute Care Surgeon – Hartford Hospital | Hartford, CT Join a Leading Academic Acute Care Surgery Program at a Top Level I Trauma Center in the Northeast Hartford Hospital , an 867-bed tertiary care academic medical center in Hartford, Connecticut, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join a high-volume, well-established, and expanding Acute Care Surgery (ACS) service . Affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Hartford Hospital is a designated American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level I Trauma Center and serves a regional catchment population of over 1.5 million. As part of Hartford HealthCare’s nine-hospital integrated system, this role offers the opportunity to practice at one of the highest-volume surgical hospitals in the Northeast within a rapidly growing academic and clinical environment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ About Acute Care Surgery at Hartford Hospital The Acute Care Surgery division provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care across trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery .
