• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).
• This position is open to LOCAL and NON-LOCAL (in WA state) candidates.
• There may be an opportunity to join this urgent care clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well. If candidate is unwilling or unable to join the clinic permanently, they are not eligible and will be redirected.

Urgent Care Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) Edmonds, WA

Schedule: 2x12hr + 2x8hr (Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat /// OFF Sun, Tues, Wed)
Monday: 7:45a 8:15p
Thursday: 7:45a 8:15p
Friday: 9:00a 5:30p
Saturday: 7:45a 4:15p
Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting
First-timers accepted: No, must have previous travel experience
Weekend REQ: Yes, every Saturday (OFF Sundays)
Is on-call REQ? No
Will this traveler need to float between like units? No, same location every shift
Locals accepted: Yes, at same rate

SPECIAL NOTES:

Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Vital Signs:

Set Up and Assist with Procedures:

• Nebulizer Treatments

Injections:

• Immunizations

Specimen Collection:

• Labeling of specimens
• Throat
• Urine UA/Clean Catch

Laboratory Tests:

• Blood Glucose via Glucometer
• Pregnancy
• Strep
• Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis

Office Duties:

• Stocking Supplies

Professional Knowledge and Skills:

• Administering Medication
• Ear Lavage
• Rooming Patients
