Dermatologic Mohs Surgery Practice (Red Creek) - LPN 2

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an outpatient dermatology setting Support unit activities and enhance the care delivery system Collaborate with staff to implement patient care and documentation Assume responsibility for assigned patients under direction of RN or MD Participate in care plans, implement nursing interventions, and educate patients/families Serve as a clinical scribe in the team-documentation model, documenting encounters in electronic medical record Communicate with patients, health care providers, pharmacies, and staff Perform medication administration and injections Full-time position, primarily days, located at Red Creek Drive; may float to Brockport, Strong Memorial Hospital, or other URMC dermatology sites as needed Comfortable with typing; advanced typing skill not required Qualifications Minimum one year of LPN experience (preferred) Comfortable with typing; advanced typing skill not required Equal Employment Opportunity The University of Rochester is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving an inclusive and welcoming culture to advance the University's Mission to Learn, Discover, Heal, Create - and Make the World Ever Better.
