Requirements:

• Valid permanent RN license in California
• BLS certification
• Wound-care certification (WCC or WOCN preferred)
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience (1.5 years may be considered) in community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma level I/II settings

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Consult on wound, ostomy, and continence care across various patient age groups
• Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care, ostomy management, and prevention strategies
• Assess and manage pressure injuries, including Stages I–IV and tunneling
• Utilize various wound care dressings and products and apply wound VAC therapy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Conduct nutritional assessments and monitor for edema/venous ulcer considerations

Compliance / Notes:

• References: 2 supervisor-level references from the past year required at submission
• Max RTO: 2 weeks total, with no RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Mandatory orientation modules (10–40 hours; first 17 hours are billable)
