Job Description Job Title: Loan Processor Location: Lima, Ohio Status: Full Time FSLA Job Class: Non-Exempt Department: Retail Lending Reports To: Head of Retail Lending At Citizens National Bank, we have surrounded ourselves with some of the brightest and most talented professionals in the financial service industry to form a solid and secure community banking foundation. Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Retail Lending Department in Lima, Ohio for a Loan Processor. In this role you will prepare and process One to four family real estate loans accurately and with time constraints. A typical day may include the following: Process mortgage loan applications and track information. Prepares loan paperwork, closes new mortgage accounts, and posting the new account in the system. Orders verifications and prepares file for credit decisions. Review all final documentation: Validate signatures are present and notarized as applicable, and ensures all required documents are present and uploaded to Director. Ensures all missing documents for loan files are tracked and obtained in a timely manner. Ensures all loan policy exceptions are properly documented on the exception report. Manages and maintains all servicing functions on loans from inception through final payment. Prepares mortgage loan releases, loan modification agreement, etc. Processes escrow draws for repairs/insurance claims on funds held.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and previous experience with secretarial skills, customer service, Word and Excel. Ideal candidate will possess at least two years prior loan experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Products required. Keyboarding proficiency is necessary. Must be able to meet deadlines and be attentive to detail.
