About this position Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify and implement effective solutions. Respond promptly to building‑related emergencies and address urgent repairs as needed. Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor energy consumption and implement energy‑saving measures to ensure efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Support the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality. Provide hand‑on training and collaborate with other engineering team members. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the property management/engineering department. Record all pertinent data in building logbooks, making daily entries as required. Actively function as a team member and demonstrate commitment to quality of service. Comply with and participate in Omninet policies, procedures, safety program, and facilities‑specific safety program. Provide the highest quality of service to tenants, staff, and visitors at the facility. Maintain regular attendance at the workplace. Participate in regular communication with the Director of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Sr. Building Engineer, Management, and other staff.
