Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT) - Acute Care
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide acute inpatient and potentially inpatient rehabilitation unit coverage. The ideal candidate will support our team with patient care, particularly during total joint surgeries and emergency room needs.
Schedule
- Monday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with the possibility of extended hours)
- Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend Coverage: Anticipated coverage for four weekends, with flexible weekday off if working weekends.
- Potential weekend coverage dates:
- October 31 - November 1
- November 28 - November 29
- December 19 - December 20
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility and function.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
