Marketing Event Coordinator

Our Greater Boston area retail client is looking for a Jr. Admin. Assistant with 2+ years' experience for a role that's onsite 3 days a week and remote the other two days. Besides general administrative duties, in this role you will assist in the planning and execution of events throughout the year ranging from BBQs to event functions and employee awards. In addition, you will maintain and update the directories for the company and also assist in planning for internal company events and trainings. Day in the life Provides administrative support for one internal manager Responds to questions and requests and researches information Interfaces with a variety of internal and external individuals Involves appropriate associates from other departments as needed when planning an event Provides secretarial and administrative support for departments Monitors department email box and responds to inquiries quickly Organizes and distributes internal recognition packets Prepares various routine and complex reports filling in the appropriate information needed for events Oversees and monitors administrative projects and initiatives Fully hands on during events to ensure successful execution while problem solving issues as they arise Performs other duties as required or directed Requirements 2+ years of administrative experience in a corporate setting, is required Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills and the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment Must have excellent phone manner, solid written and verbal communication skills and be customer service oriented Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Cove Inc.
