Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Family Wellness

Licensed Practical Nurse – Clinic LPN (Winchester) Job Type: Full-Time | Days: Monday-Friday; 8:00a-4:30p; No Weekends. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse, following scope and standards of practice. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care, and may administer medication. Documents patient care given. Assists RN in development of plan of care. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient’s status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider. Obtains insurance re‑authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures. Qualifications Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license; graduate of a Practical Nursing program. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. License: LPN for the State of Tennessee.
