Job Description – Operator I

Position: Operator I
Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Duration: Contract through 03/12/2027

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operator I to join a medical device manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, inspecting, testing, and repairing medical devices in a cleanroom environment while following quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect medical devices and components.
• Perform testing, repair, and quality checks according to work instructions.
• Use microscopes and precision hand tools to assemble small components.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow GMP, safety, and cleanroom procedures.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical device assembly experience preferred. Candidates with electronics or semiconductor assembly experience will also be considered.
• Microscope experience is required (or ability to pass a microscope test).
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Hand soldering experience is a plus.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Stable work history is preferred (approximately 2+ years per employer, or valid reasons for shorter tenures).
