This opportunity is based on a Warehouse Picker/Packer career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job Duties Operate a stand-up forklift to retrieve, transport, and deliver materials throughout the facility. Use RF scanners, forklift-mounted tablets, and digital inventory systems to locate and track inventory. Safely retrieve and store materials on racks reaching approximately 15-20 feet high. Read production schedules, work orders, and inventory reports to determine material needs and priorities. Verify inventory locations, quantities, and part numbers for accuracy. Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate digital records. Conduct weigh counts of materials and ensure inventory is properly documented. Build cardboard crates to support production and equipment needs. Deliver materials to production departments and support manufacturing operations.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution training is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience Requirements Ability to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems. Ability to safely use RF scanners, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality. Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments. Previous stand-up forklift experience is required. Manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred. Strong attention to detail when verifying inventory, part numbers, and material locations.Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred. Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial. Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Order Picker.Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Ability to work efficiently in warehouse and fulfillment environments while following established safety procedures. Ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts throughout the shift. Comfortable retrieving and storing materials on shelving systems up to five levels high.
