Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, featuring medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
