Career Track Faculty, Doctor of Occupational TherapyOld Dominion University (ODU) invites applications for two Career Track Faculty (non-tenure track) positions in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, which is housed within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences in the Ellmer College of Health Sciences, with appointments effective July 25, 2027. These are annual, 10-month full-time faculty positions, with additional opportunities for paid summer course instruction. Applicants will have teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities in content areas that match the applicant's clinical expertise, scholarship interests (if applicable), and the needs of the program. In conjunction with the Program Director and other faculty, they will assist with curricular design and content. They will support admissions and the strategic planning and implementation of the program and School. Other responsibilities include advising and mentoring graduate students and taking an active role in school and university service and professional development.Minimum Qualifications:Active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.Familiarity with ACOTE accreditation standards.Experience with occupational therapy education, curriculum design, and program evaluation.Experience teaching entry-level occupational therapy content.Experience mentoring graduate student research or capstone projects.Each agency within the Commonwealth of Virginia is dedicated to recruiting, supporting, and maintaining a competent and diverse work force.
