Your Day-to-Day as a Heavy Duty Mechanic: Technical Responsibilities Perform routine daily maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with environmental policies. Install, maintain, inspect, and repair a variety of mobile equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures and issues. Collaborate with other trades in a team environment to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and production. Shutdown and Strategic Capital Projects Provide assistance and expertise for projects, including planning as needed. Work together with Drax staff to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and timely project execution. Mentorship and Leadership for Maintenance Staff Advocate for the Drax Zero Harm, actively contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures and complying with legislation and regulations.
