HVAC Service TechnicianA well-established commercial mechanical contractor in San Diego is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its growing service team. This is a full-time opportunity focused on commercial HVAC service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair throughout the greater San Diego area.The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with experience servicing larger commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and controls.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform commercial HVAC service, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issuesService chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, package units, and other commercial HVAC equipmentRespond to service calls and independently identify and resolve equipment problemsComplete service documentation and communicate repair recommendations clearlyMaintain strong relationships with commercial customersFollow company safety procedures and industry standardsRequirementsCommercial HVAC service experience & strong HVAC troubleshooting abilityHands-on experience with chillers and larger commercial HVAC equipmentExperience with boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and hydronic systems preferredStrong electrical, controls, and VFD troubleshooting skillsEPA 608 certification requiredAble to work independently in a field service environmentCompensation & BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off & holidaysCompany-provided vehicle and gas cardOngoing technical training and developmentStable, year-round commercial service work
