Associate Attorney

Associate AttorneyHutchins Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing law firm. This position will primarily focus on family law and criminal defense matters, with opportunities to assist in other civil litigation and general practice cases as needed.The Associate Attorney will work directly with clients, appear in court, draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, prepare discovery, negotiate with opposing counsel, and assist with case strategy from intake through resolution. This position requires professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a caseload in a busy small-firm environment.Primary duties include client meetings, court appearances, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing for hearings and trials, communicating with opposing counsel, maintaining case files, and working closely with the firms attorney, paralegal, and administrative staff.Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Oklahoma or awaiting admission to the Oklahoma Bar. Prior experience in family law, criminal law, or litigation is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable in court, and capable of handling sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on courtroom experience, direct client contact, and the chance to grow within a small but active law firm.
