This facility is a state-of-the-art hospital with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, and 12 intensive care beds, along with an eight-bed labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. The facility features an emergency department that is open 24/7, six major operating rooms, and two endoscopy suites. Additionally, there is a modern cardiac catheterization unit along with a diagnostic imaging department providing various digital modalities. The Picture Archival Communication system allows physicians instant access to digital images. The unit is classified as a Well Baby Center with a total of 9 beds. Patient ratios vary based on acuity. Equipment used includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal Dopplers, and syringe pumps. The electronic health record systems in use are Med Host and Centricity. Supervision is provided by a designated supervisor. The patient population includes labor, postpartum, and neonates. Preferred experience includes familiarity with the electronic health record system. Common diagnoses treated include term and late preterm conditions, such as gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes. Candidates should be team players with flexible schedules.
