Musculoskeletal Radiologist – Phoenix VA We are seeking a Board‑Certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join the Phoenix VA Radiology Service. The position offers an opportunity to split time between musculoskeletal (MSK) and general radiology, with approximately 60% of service focusing on MSK duties. Candidates will be responsible for joint injections, arthrograms, joint aspirations, and broader clinical radiology duties within a large, multidisciplinary department. Responsibilities Perform joint injections, arthrograms, and joint aspirations. Provide general radiology coverage, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Maintain a valid medical license in at least one state and all required certifications, including BLS. Educate residents, medical students, and other trainees; deliver didactics and conference presentations. Participate in tumor boards, peer learning, and specialty conferences. Engage in research projects as desired. Qualifications ABR‑certified (or ABR‑eligible) with fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging preferred. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in General Radiology (no mammography requirement). Experience in clinical radiology and familiarity with services provided by subspecialists. Ability to maintain a valid full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory. U.S. citizenship required; non‑citizens may only be appointed when no qualified citizens are available. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (up to $400,000 annually) plus annual performance bonus. Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200,000 repayment). Monetary CME reimbursement ($1,000 per year). Paid time off: 26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days CME absence.
