Customer Success Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Success Specialist to serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service throughout the entire lifecycle, from order placement through delivery and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where building relationships and solving problems are top

priorities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with customers while collaborating across multiple departments to ensure a seamless

experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Support customers with questions regarding orders, product availability, pricing, warranties, and account inquiries.
• Monitor customer activity and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Order Management & Account Support

• Coordinate customer orders from initiation through fulfillment.
• Prepare and manage quotes, sales orders, and order modifications as needed.
• Track order status and communicate updates to customers.
• Partner with customers to ensure projects, deliveries, and service requests stay on schedule.
• Assist with contract renewals, upgrades, and ongoing account maintenance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Care teams to resolve issues and support customer needs.
• Coordinate resources across departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Act as an advocate for customers by communicating concerns, priorities, and feedback internally.
• Support process improvements that enhance the customer experience.

Problem Solving & Customer Success

• Utilize reporting tools and customer data to identify potential issues and proactively address concerns.
• Investigate and resolve order delays, shipment issues, billing questions, and service-related requests.
• Develop solutions that help customers maximize value and achieve their goals.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within company systems.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in customer success, customer service, account management, sales support, or related business support roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred

• Experience supporting business-to-business (B2B) customers.
• Experience handling orders, quotes, contracts, or account management activities.
• Background working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• CRM experience such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wappingers Falls,NY.
