As a Referrals Coordinator at Lovelace Family Medicine PA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. Join our dedicated team in Prosperity, SC, and help streamline the referral process for our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming and outgoing patient referrals with precision and care.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and specialists.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for referrals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our system.
• Assist patients in scheduling appointments with referred specialists.
• Follow up on referral outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the medical team to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and referral processes.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
