Job Summary

This is an exciting 13-week travel assignment for a dedicated Registered Nurse in Rochester, New York. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a dynamic hospital environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking.
• Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to operate standard medical equipment (e.g., vital sign monitors, IV pumps).
