Description:
Responsible for providing nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
Works within the scope of licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
Functions as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient.
Must be able to take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, and complete necessary prior authorizations.
Provides support to the team of co-workers.
Gives direction to CNA's and Schedulers.
Receives direction from providers, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs.
