BIM Coordinator

Overseeing and managing all Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes for assigned Mechanical, Plumbing, and related MEP projects, the full-time remote BIM Coordinator - NC Licensed will ensure seamless design integration and coordination across disciplines. Key responsibilities Develop, maintain, and coordinate federated BIM models for multi-trade coordination, constructability reviews, and clash detection Perform comprehensive clash detection using Navisworks, identifying and facilitating resolution of conflicts prior to construction Collaborate with project teams and other stakeholders to proactively solve design challenges and manage complex space coordination Required qualifications High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Revit and BIM/VDC coordination for MEP design Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and strong working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud Strong knowledge of VDC processes and MEP systems integration Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications across multiple disciplines Experience in managing shop drawing and model production in support of construction projects
