Business Development & IT Sales Representative

We’re a locally owned group of technology companies in Lincoln, serving businesses with IT support, infrastructure, and web services. We’re growing and looking for a relationship-driven salesperson who gets excited about technology and the people who use it. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, starting conversations, and turning those connections into long-term business relationships. You’ll represent multiple service lines, so you’ll need to be comfortable learning technical products well enough to explain them clearly and confidently. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you do need to be curious about tech and comfortable talking about it.

What You'll Do

• Find and develop new business through networking, referrals, outreach, and community events
• Reach out to prospects you don’t know yet, by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person
• Learn our services inside and out and match them to what each client actually needs
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from first contact through signed agreement
• Partner with our technical team on proposals, site visits, and solution planning
• Stay in touch with existing clients to grow relationships and spot new opportunities
• Represent the company at local business groups, chambers, and industry events
• Track activity and progress in our CRM

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience (B2B preferred)
• A natural people person who builds trust quickly and enjoys networking
• Confidence starting conversations with strangers and following up consistently
• Strong comfort with technology, and a willingness to keep learning it
• Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
• Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal
• Experience selling IT services, managed services, cloud, telecom, or other technical solutions is a big plus
• Existing connections in the Lincoln/Omaha business community are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week – Can be flexible part time or full time
• Paid time off (FTEs)
