Maintenance PortersMaintenance porters play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of a facility throughout the day. Unlike evening or night janitorial staff, Maintenance Porters are responsible for maintaining the building's cleanliness during business hours, handling quick cleaning tasks, and responding to immediate needs as they arise.Key Responsibilities:Act as a point of contact for facility users for cleaning and maintenance needs.Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, etc.Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners.Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.Report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards.Assist with light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs).Support special cleaning or facility setup tasks as needed.Other duties as needed.What We're Looking For:English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.Prior cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent customer service skills.Follow health and safety guidelines.Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of objects up to 50 lbs.Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as needed.May operate a boom lift or other equipment for high-reach cleaning or maintenance.Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Work Environment:Work may take place in office buildings, schools, medical facilities, or commercial spacesMay require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on location needs.About DTK Facility Services:DTK Facility Services is a Texas-based commercial facility services company.
