Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 1 year of experience in advanced echocardiography techniques including 2D/3D Echo, TEE, and stress echo procedures. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience Active professional licensure required, if applicable Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred Responsibilities Cardiology echo unit in an acute care hospital setting Procedures include 2D/3D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, imaging with contrast agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, TEE, Treadmill Stress Echo, and advanced calculations including Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area (PISA) Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Every other weekend required No on-call requirement Float within facility scope of practice and to a secondary campus location as needed Local candidates are accepted First-time travelers are accepted for this position RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a travel employee No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm Candidate profiles undergo a clinical review to assess fit before being forwarded to the hiring manager for final consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-716275 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
